Getting started with VIN Drive could not be easier. Here is a basic rundown of the initial steps we go through with new dealers. Please keep in mind that every one of these steps is at no additional charge.

Domain names
If you have an existing domain name, we can talk you through making the proper DNS (domain name server) changes to point to our server. If you need a domain name, we will be glad to help find and secure a domain name for you to use at no additional cost.

Hosting
Hosting your new dealer website is always included in every account. We host all of our dealer websites with the most respected data center in the country, Rackspace (rackspace.com). With hundreds of the biggest clients in the US, such as the US Marine Corp. (marines.com) and Oakley Sunglasses (oakley.com) to name a couple, Rackspace has consistently proven to be the most reliable hosting company available.

Existing websites
If you have an existing dealer website, we will work with you to copy or recreate your site, and / or move any graphics and content you wish to keep. We will also do eveything we can to eliminate any downtime during the process.

Logo conversion to high resolution art or new logo creation
Very few of our dealer customers have high resolution versions of their logos that are necessary for use in window sticker or ad flyer templates. VIN DRIVE will convert your existing logo to either vector or 300 dpi artwork for the highest quality results. Need a logo for your dealership? We will be glad to create something for you as well.

Graphic design

Why settle on the cookie-cutter templates other dealer website offer with similar graphics on every one? With VIN DRIVE, every dealer website is customized with original graphics. You tell us the design elements you are looking for and we will add them for you. From specific car makes and models to Flash animation and more!

Custom pages and forms

VIN DRIVE does not limit the content pages you can include with your dealership website. Need custom forms? Want to take payments? No problem, you name it and we can build it for you - at no additional charge!

Initial website build

Because every VIN DRIVE dealer website is completely custom, we typically start with a graphic representation of the site for you to critique. Then, once you are happy with the initial layout, we will build the site for you, add custom content and forms, Flash animation and more.

Window sticker, ad flyer, inventory printout, and Craigslist templates

Every VIN DRIVE account not only includes a custom dealer website, but our exclusive Dealer Print Shop and other functions that require custom layouts and graphics such as our Craigslist tool. No other vehicle marketing system company puts as much custom work and effort into your dealership's marketing as VIN DRIVE. We work with you to not only provide a great dealer website, but great looking templates for these other services as well.

Unlimited email accounts

Every VIN DRIVE account includes unlimited, custom email accounts @yourdomain such as bill@yourdealershipname.com.  We will also help you set up your email addresses on your Outlook, Outlook Express, or we based email clients.

Credit App Encryption / Decryption

VIN DRIVE is one of the few, if not only dealer website companies to fully encrypt all credit application form results from user to your dealership with 2048 bit RSA encryption. Most dealer website companies simply host your credit application page on a secure (https) page. In today's times, that is simply not enough to fully protect your customer's personal financial information. VIN DRIVE will install a key on your dealership's computer to decrypt the credit application form results.

Training

Although our system is very intuitive, every VIN DRIVE account also includes personal instruction for you and your employees to use the system.
